Try using less oil. If you are cooking something that requires a lot use Chef John's method of soaking up the excess with paper towels when the oil is no longer needed.

Really though all the fats and oils you're using should be things you're happy to put into your body. Save fats in a container, then when you want a fast power snack, spread some on a slice of toast. Bread and dripping was an economical hunger smashing source of calories used when food and money was scarce.

I miss living in hawaii. I would literally just walk down to the beach about 100 yards away and dump my shit into the ocean in the middle of the night. Grease, motor oil, engine coolant, all that shit went straight into the ocean. Of course the engine coolant dumps were before I realized I could just use water because the temperate got nowhere near freezing in that environment. Antifreeze was a such a scam.
