Their batter is some kind of special shit you can smell from a mile away, like KFC. It's so good I think they sold leftover crispy bits from the fryer for a while or you could just ask for them. And they fry the chicken and fries in the same grease as the fish and shrimp(which would be disgusting in any other circumstance).

Anyway, I loved it as a kid in the 90's but they're all closed now. My order was the 10 piece Shrimp and More, cocktail sauce and ketchup.

I had Long John Silvers for the first time in years a few months ago. It's really hard to justify going there because it's a 20 minute drive to downtown to get there, I just happened to have an errand to do down there so I pounced on the opportunity to go.

I got a box of two chicken strips, two fish strips, french fries, and hush puppies. Along with a large Dr Pepper. I don't eat fast food very often so it was a huge treat for me and the soda was extra sweet since I almost never drink soda. They wouldn't let me eat inside because of the corona stuff, so I ate out in the parking lot in my car. It was amazing.
