I have had a few boxes of generic mac in my pantry that is getting close to the expiration date. I decided to make a box the other night and added some grated parmesan and pepper jack at the end which made it much more edible. Anyone have any things you like to throw it to upgrade shit tier mac n cheese?

This movie was rad, but I wish the Black Skulls weren't just psycho druggies. I liked their look and mysticalness of their first appearance.

I add extra chese and a little extra butter with some breadcrumbs. A protein as well just regular chicken. Sometimes I get so carried away adding to blue box that its better to just start from scratch minus the noodles

This. I always cringe when I hear people talking about mac and cheese like it's a real food. Adding bits of shredded lobster to it doesn't make it high cuisine like so many people seem to think.

Is this real? Who in marketing thought Cheddar Goblin was marketable? Whos the target demographic?

If you're making boxed crap Annie's is the best and it isn't close.
But making it with real cheese and milk is only slightly more expensive and slightly more time and labor, so it's always worth it to do that instead.
And I don't mean "How could you spend the money on garbage when you could be home cooking!?
I mean making stove top Mac and cheese only requires pasta, boiled water, grated cheese, and milk. You don't even need a fucking colander because you aren't gonna drain it, that's how easy it is.

Mac and cheese is on the same level as chicken tenders. "Fancy, organic mac and cheese" is like saying "lightly fried, breaded chicken filets." It's the same shit. The only difference is that mac and cheese hasn't reached the stigma/meme status of tendies. Now I'm not saying anyone who eats either has the palate of a manchild, but it's certainly a huge red flag.

There's more than one way to make mac and cheese.

I typically make homemade, but you can do the same thing with boxed mac
>heat milk
>add roughly 1:2 of processed:non-processed cheddar and stir until melted
>add dijon mustard, Frank's Red Hot, and pepper to taste
If you're doing boxed macca add the powdered cheese in with the other cheese, makes it even better. I like doing this with white cheddar better.

I made some Kraft yesterday and I couldn't even eat 3 bites of it. It was just so tasteless and bland, had to throw it all away. Can't believe I used to love it when I was a kid, j guess my tastebuds changed a lot. I see why people call it kid food now.

Cheddar and an extra slice of velveeta if I have it. I prefer just not to have boxed mac and cheese though it's always turned out to be a bad idea.
