I mostly agree with this guy. Looking at a label and then assuming they are telling the truth is fucking stupid. A "free range" chicken may be living in the same quality of hell as a battery cage hen. Organic produce might still be as destructive to the environment and still use destructive chemicals as non organic.

The key is to self certify. Stop sucking supermarket dick. Supermarkets have only been around for 90 years. Go visit some fucking farms. Farms can be just as beautiful as vacation destinations if you know where to look, and farmers can be incredibly accommodating, providing tours and even room and board, with much higher quality food than even high rated resort hotels. The best part is you can build a great relationship with the farmer and continue to do business with them indefinitely and you don't even need any gay ass certification to virtue signal your food.
