Some people wash it with soap. Yeah, I know.

Not black but I wash my meat. Imagine all the spit, sweat and mucous all over the meat. The handlers can’t even stop themselves from spreading COVID in the packing plants, you think that shit ain’t on your meat?

watch adam ragusea's new video on why you specifically SHOULD NOT wash your meat

My family is white and my Mom is a germaphobe - she always washes everything including meats before cooking. I always tell her that the heat/cooking process kills the germs but she doesn’t listen.

Ask her why she doesn't wash the meat after she cooks it. Who knows, germs might have gotten on it while it was cooking

I can pop my shit in autoclave and serve it to you, just because it’s sterile still doesn’t make it any less disgusting to eat.

If you’re concerned about your proteins being a bit sticky or having a slightly off smell rinse them with straight lemon juice and water. The acid cuts the proteinaceous ooze and the water rinses it down the drain.

You’re welcome

Washing chicken directly under the tap sprays bacteria everywhere. Wiping your chicken off with a dry paper towel and then cooking it properly more than takes care of any potential health hazards.

Alright how about I spit on your chicken thigh, cook it thoroughly and serve it to you? Because that shit is on your meat when it leaves the packing plant.

I'm pretty sure they wash chicken at the plant. Because I've seen a thousand smug Europeans saying how happy they are that they ban American chicken washed with chlorine solutions, that horrifying chemical that everyone goes swimming in.

The handlers when they can’t stop themselves from coughing all over each other. Why else do you think there are huge outbreaks of COVID-19 at meat packing plants? The minimum wage illegal immigrant workers and their diligent hygiene standards?
>>15182656
Okay dude, whatever helps you sleep at night. I’ll just rinse my meat without splashing and have the peoce of mind knowing I’m not swallowing Diego, Miguel and Tyrones nose mucus.

pretty sure its a meme like americans wearing shoes indoors. no one would do that

>> No.15182718

>>15182679
Wait, this isn't just hyperbole? You literally think there's a line of wagies hacking globs of phlegm over every segment of animal that leaves the factory, and your tongue is going to be slipping over their slime if you don't scrub your meat off?
Let me guess, you're that paranoid of store ingredients but you'll eat a chinese restaurant and not even question what they're doing to your food.

Americans do wear their shoes indoors though. And they wash their meat.

>> No.15182746

>>15182718
Not really. I imagine a line of hundreds of meat packers working on a production line and a small percentage of them with absolutely poor hygiene standards contaminating the meat as it clears the conveyor belts. A cough here and there, a sneeze, a wipe of the nose with their hands etc etc etc. It’s just easier to wash the chicken before consumption for the piece of mind. But hey if you got no problems with it, that’s fine, it’s your body not mine. I’m just going to limit the amount of human bodily fluids I consume when I can.

I dont wash (except the birds I slaughter because obviously its covered in blood and guts dude you gotta give it a rinse.
But with skin on poultry you should pour boiling water over the skin before you salt cure and bake to make the skin crispy.

Too bad their disgusting women don't wash their wigs.

Straightened hair? That's cultural appropriation. Smelly cultural appropriation too.
