A delicious, hearty and thick soup made out of elk meat, heart, liver, and these small patties made out of blood and flour. Normally she puts the kidneys in as well but the elk in question was rather old and the kidneys had a too strong taste.

It is, and it's very easy to make even if you don't use game meat. Oh and it also had some pork because elk can be somewhat dry.
The trick is just to prepare the blood things the day before, so that they don't get mushed in the soup as it slowly simmers.

Imo the best thing about this food is that it gets so much better when reheated. Thicker, tastier, softer. It's a perfect food.

Thanksgiving mashed potatoes and turkey. The turkey was delicious. I told her to dry-brine it, and it was flavorful down to the bone. It was seasoned with fresh herbs and stuffed with roughly chopped green apples and onions, and some lemon slices. I think it's the best turkey she's ever made. The mashed potatoes were great, too. My mom makes them way lighter and fluffier than I can make them, and I don't understand how.

My mom refuses to cook for me since I turned 18 and moved out.
Whenever I visit for the holidays I ask her to bake me something or ask if she can make me something if she's cooking lunch and it's always a flat out no.
I still cook for her because I love her, but the idea that once I became an adult she no longer has any responsibilities to care for me and you know be a mother to me is kind of wack.

>> No.15161407

My aunt is weirdly sexual. I remember she would come into my room and lay in my bed to talk to me, touching me a lot. She would also wear very tight clothing that showed off her figure. I wasn't ever uncomfortable around her but she never really escalated to the point where I got horny around her. I'm starting to wonder what would happen if I had a visible boner in her presence.

She had a daughter who was like 4 years younger than me and an absolute brat and I hated with all my soul, though. The daughter was probably what prevented me from getting horny around my aunt.

Mine passed this last February after short stint with cancer. One of the dinners she enjoyed making was a simple baked salmon with butter, dijon mustard, dill, and a bit of lemon. Simple, easy, and made plenty to serve.
