I used to binge the low fat alternatives but it just made me feel weird as fuck, probably putting me closer to diabetes or something.

Fully switched to purely water last year and feel much better.

Why do americans live in the heads of people from other countries rent free, 24/7?
Not american, just wondering.

I don' think I've ever had more than two or three sodas a month.

I do drink a lot of milk though

>> No.15120547

I'm a burger and I don't think I have ever even had soda. If I want to jeopardize my health over a drink it had better at least get me drunk.
In a world where tea and herbal teas exist I can't imagine needing another functional drink.

My parents were nutty about healthy eating so from like 13-15 I went through a phase where I consumed a shitload of Vanilla Coke since I could just buy it at school but after that I feel disgusted thinking about it. I pretty much only drink water, seltzer, milk and wine in small amounts on the weekend (I do get hammered for the NFL playoffs and Superb Owl though). I feel very good about it.

I drink water and coffee most of the day, but I need a glass of Cherry Pepsi at dinner, I just have to have it. It used to be beer, or wine, or really any sort of booze, but I could never stop at just one, whereas I don't need more than a glass of Cherry Pepsi.

Switched when the pandemic started since I work at home all the time now. Used to always grab a soda at lunch at work. Can't say I miss it, but I don't particularly feel better either.

>> No.15122669

In a typical day I wake up and drink maybe 1/2 cup of water, then have a cup of black coffee. Throughout the day I'll maybe grab a sip of water here and there, but for the most part I just don't get thirsty. With dinner I'll have a 12oz can of soda. Some days I'll drink 2 cans of soda, but that's becoming more rare as my budget tightens.

The only times I really go out of my way to drink water are on days where I'm working outside a lot, or doing a lot of physical activity. For the people who drink a gallon jug of water in a day, I have to ask, where do you find the time? Are you just constantly sipping? Do you also carry a beer bong to consume your water?

I probably drink a gallon a day, constantly refilling a 16 oz glass and chugging it, but I work all day long in a hot ass kitchen and I sweat like crazy. Probably more like two gallons of liquid in a 10, 12, or 16 hour shift, if you count the coffee I'm slamming as well. I'll basically set up two glasses, water and iced coffee, and just alternate all day long. If I'm off, I just drink a normal amount of water and coffee, a cup or two of joe in the morning, a glass of 'ter every now and then throughout the day, and a glass of 'rry 'epsi at dinner.

Have a 1L bottle. Drink 1L right as I wake up, sip another 1 or 2 during work after a black coffee, drink another 1 or 2 through the evening as I read or workout.

Feels fuggin good

When I got an actual filter and realized it wasn't the water that tasted nasty, it was the city's idea of filtering it that did.

Man, I could knock back sodas as a kid and teen, I remember once I had at least 6 cans in a day and I was fine. Now I drink one and feel like death after. I guess it balanced out. I just have sparkling water to get my carbonation fix.

Few years ago, 5 or 6? I'm 25 now. It made me feel so fucking great. I worked in a 100F kitchen so going from soda to water hit fucking great. More energy, could eat way more without worry, and I like to pretend I'm a water baron in a post apocalypse when I drink and I'm indulging in disgusting excess as I let it drip from the corners of my mouth into my beard. I still had my crazy good teen metabolism back then so I was skinny despite the habit so I didn't get any weight loss. Though I'm still a 6'3 150lb skellington

Switch to shit like this if you refuse to just drink water all the time. Cheaper than a soda habit and while it's totally not better I can't imagine it being worse.
Switching to it did make me realize how much I was spending on my soda habit and pushed me towards drinking more water though
