For some reason, I still love microwave corn-dogs. I've loved them since I was a kid, and I still love them as a 31-year-old failure. Do you love them too, /ck/? I hope so.

33 year old failure here and yeah, except I just stick them in the oven for 30 minutes instead. That let's me feel like I'm a real chef.

Bar S is gross. Get the other ones in the blue box.

I used to eat them as a kid but started to dislike how sweet the cornbread is at some point. Can't really find any without sweet cornbread either. Kind of like the ones in puff pastry more instead.

I picked up a box of jalapeno corn dogs about a month ago, I've had them maybe twice since then. Cheap and easy for when I want a lazy lunch, goes great with a nice spicy mustard and some giardiniera.

Get your favorite dogs and a can of croissants. Roll 'em up, brush with butter, sprinkle on some sesame seeds. Bake according to package directions plus a couple of minutes, and there you go. Not as good as making your own sausage rolls but it'll do in a pinch and won't be sweet.

It's a fucking corn dog equivalent, you ponce. If I'm buying puff pastry (or even making it), there's no fucking way I'm wasting that shit on hot dogs.

The best are probably from street fairs and county/state fairs. I can't see any of those microwave ones being anything close to good, they'd just be soggy shit.

I'd sooner lop off my own dong and deep-fry it than eat anything made by Bar S

Are you even familiar with why they call it a fucking "corn dog"?

>> No.14981362

>>14981340
It's because it looks like a corn cob. Puff pastry works just as good

That's just one way to do it, you can also make it with puff pastry and it will still look like a corn cob

This. Bar S are so bad I refuse to eat them. Spend another dollar and get a decent product.
