There is a place for a good IPA. But don't overdo it with the hops.

It is really originally a traditional English beer style so there's nothing wrong with that. It's not my favorite style though. That would be a dunkelweizen or a good Belgian tripel.

(Drinking skuumkoppe right now from the Texel brewery. Pretty good stuff)

Sometimes I want something hoppy, dark, smoked, sour, or 15% with a hint of blackberry. Sometimes I want a pale lager or ale that's just bitter and malty enough to keep it from being sweet... but the only excuse/reason I ever have to drink Coors or Busch light is that it's all there is, I'm hungover, and it's as cold as beer gets before it qualifies as a frozen dessert.
