try eating microwaved breaded chicken and american cheese pita pockets in bed at 2pm and running to the bathroom to have diarrhea for the 5th time that day in between bites after relapsing on alcohol for the third time this year and completely destroying your stomach and intestines again. Then try simultaneously withdrawing benzodiazepines as well because your doctor instructed you to take one every day but only prescribed a 30 day supply and refused to refill your prescription. Then spend the next consecutive month in the emergency room, curled up in the fetal position vomiting and shitting your brains out, unable to keep anything you eat down. Sweating your ass off, freezing your ass off, with multiple migraines every day. Wondering when you're going to wake up dead or have a massive seizure.

I'm pretty sure depression looks like sucking dry the taco bell hot sauce packets you found underneath your couch cushions and then licking off the rest of the spilled beer from your coffee table.

I dunno about him, but I remember my sis having a breakdown because her doctor wouldn't refill a prescription for benzos over the phone but she couldn't get stable enough to bring herself to go to the doctor's office. Mental illness and addiction is rough.

How long did you take 'em and are we talking a high dosage?

Don't want to discourage you but if we are talking a decade or so then you can count on a tough 6-12months as some say it takes about 10% of the time you took them for you body and mainly brain to adjust itself which from personal experience seems to fit pretty well.

It will be tough but it does get a whole lot better it really does it's only that it could take some time till it's really good again, the real issue I found is if the underlying reason for why you took them hasn't been adressed either because you're just they way you are or because you just haven't then you could be back at the same place you were when you first got the pills which won't feel good but it will get you to have greater insight in your self and decide yourself what you want and if you think it's worth the price or not.

Keep your head up and power through anon just now that there aren't any shortcuts available, be careful with alcohol and just say no to Lyrica (is it gabapentin? either way it is even worse than benso with less positives) seeing as these work on the same GABA-receptors.

Sounds like a shitty doctor that didn't even give you the chance to taper down as per the Ashton-manual

>> No.14949120

>>14949112
Only 30 .5mg extended release. I took them over a course of a month and a half. Tried to taper at the end, but it didn't work so well. It's been about a month and I'm starting to feel normal again.

>> No.14949126

>>14947468
Because like the other anon said, he prescribed them in a tele health visit, and I couldn't get in to see an actual doctor because of the scamdemic. He's such a rube that he didn't think I'd become physically dependent after 4 weeks of daily use. You act like medical malpractice doesn't kill more people every year than all diseases combined.

Then it shouldn't be so bad of course it's tough especially if you've never gone through something like that before but you should be back to yourself pretty fast (guessing we are talking Alprazolam/Xanax as you said 0.5mg, shouldn't really matter which one we're talking but generally the shorter "half-life" the tougher the withdrawal)
