Look up base rate for your industry and roles, then record every hour it takes you to cost menus, order, talk to suppliers and bill them for every second, at the casual rate (base rate + 25%). Anything less then take them to fair work. Bl if you're country has no labour laws.

One reoccurring element are that the owners of these establishments were aware (though AC semi feigns ignorance) while attempting to have some sense of altruism. Having met all of these people and even working for one much of this comes off as lip service trying to save face from alot of problematic bullshit that most wanted to ignore for years while pretending to give a shit about social issues.

I'm hoping more stories appear as a result to take these superficial fucks down a notch. I'm pretty leftist and despise these types trying to take such a slant to either gain or salvage PR when incidents are properly brought to light.

It's not something that happens too often but it's not something you forget if you work with this stuff and it's still often enough to be an annoyance and yes I think it would be appreciated because well most people don't take offence at all when you tell them off as long as you do it in a respectful manner but of course we'd rather not do it as there is always a risk that someone doesn't really understand even if you explain why and might take it personally so if a customer does it then that whole risk for the employee, the meatdepartment and the store is mitigated.
