This is my friend's grandma recipe for thicc slab pizza. Heard people call it "Sicilian style".
It's real good, but not the one you will have in a pizzeria. It's made for your home oven, and to be made without anything special instruments or without much fuss to be honest.

>Ingredients for the dough
500 g of all purpose flour, or 350 g of all purpose flour and than 150 g of manitoba or bread flour.
12 g of fresh beer yeast
2-3 teaspoons of salt
300 ml of warm water (adjust as you go)
1 teaspoon of sugar
2 tablespoons of oil

+ sauce, mozzarella and toppings of choice

Put half of the water in glass. Add yeast and sugar. Make sure they're dissolved and let it sit there for 5-10 minutes.
Put flour in bowl. Add salt and mix it together. Add oil, water + yeast and mix. Then add the rest of the water.
Knead the dough for a while.
Let it sit in a dark and warm place for 2 hours. I leave it in my turned off oven.
Spread the dough with your fingers on two oven trays. Add oil at the bottom. Add the tomato sauce.
Leave it in the oven for another 2 hours.
Add mozzarella. Add your meaty toppings of choice.
Oven at 220°C and put your pizza in, at the bottom. ONE TRAY AT THE TIME. No cooking time, just look at it and make sure it's cooked at the top and bottom.
If you want to add vegetables, do it after the pizza is mostly cooked, otherwise pizza gets soggy.

Total time needed: 5 hours

I winged the recipe. I have a base recipe for regular buttermilk pancakes that I play around with.-

The basic recipe is as follows:
1 cup wheat flour. I use whole wheat flour usually, but that's a personal preference thing.
1 cup buttermilk or milk
2 tbsp melted butter or oil.
2 tsp sugar
1 egg
If using buttermilk, ½ tsp baking powder and ¼ tsp baking soda.
If using milk, 1 tsp baking powder.

For this, I didn't have buttermilk, so I used kefir. The end result is not sour because the baking soda neutralizes most of the acidity from the buttermilk or kefir, and also neutralizes some of the chocolate acidity.

I also mixed a medium overripe banana in there. Overripe is good for baking. You want a banana with plenty of spots for a strong banana flavour.

As for the chocolate, I put about 1 1/4 tbsp of pure cocoa powder in there.

Pancakes are something I do here at home about once a week. I try to tweak the recipe depending on what's around: an overripe banana, chocolate, matcha, vanilla, a handful blueberries, kefir or plain yoghurt instead of buttermilk... the sky is the limit, really.
