I am a picky eater. My burgers only have meat cheese and bread, my salads only have lettuce, I like very Very VERY simple dishes, because I like being able to focus on one or two flavors.

Now, also, I work in an office but every friday I cook for them, and I cook relatively simple things, and everyone absolutely loves it, even if I don't like the food myself, and I'm really good at listening to orders and following recipes.

Would I have a chance at being a great chef even though I'm a picky eater?

I've been thinking about becoming a head chef, but I feel I won't make much and/or I need to go to college for it.

Any opinions are greatly appreciated!

Lettuce is not a salad, it's just lettuce

If you live in some backwater where deconstructed dishes aren't played out yet then you might have a chance.

Well, no. A good chef would have to be able to enjoy much more varied flavors, in addition to simple stuff.
