Is eating plain pasta a thing in Russia? Over the years I've noticed that some Russians eat plain pasta. I used to follow a Russian girl on periscope who would sometimes eat plain spaghetti noodles with no sauce or seasoning. I've seen it elsewhere too, like in Russian movies.

I'm a Euro and here in Germany there are quite a few Russians, but not many Russian Restaurants. The one I've been to was great. I liked Pelmeni, I also ordered liver which had onions and some red colored horseradish. All very good. I've also had Salad Olivier and Okroshka. All very good. I also enjoyed the Russian beer they had, called Baltika I think.

Russians are nice people, sometimes a bit scary/crazy, but ok. I'm not sure if they're soulless compared to our Turks.

Russia itself seems very beautiful, would lve to go to Ladoga Lake some day.

Pirozhki can be pretty good. They're basically just a variant of the universal "dough with filling." Typically you can get them filled with meat, onions, or mushrooms.

I made some borscht last night. It is a classic Russian dish. Pelmeni are also good. Russian stores have a variety of smoked fish, sausages, picked vegetables; which are all good. Deserts such as Russian honey cake are really good too. You can relax with some volba (dried fish) and a Baltika beer. Russian food isn’t known for strong flavors, but they are gentle and savory.
