What the heck is mayonnaise eaten with?

Cold leftover thanksgiving turkey

Besides leftover thanksgiving sandwiches, I use it with canned tuna and onions/black olives and some sweet relish for tuna sandwiches. I also use it to dip strawberries into. It sounds gross at first, but it actually pairs well.

I put tomatoes, greens, capsicum and some chicken with mayo and chilli tomato sauce on sandwiches. Sometimes I replace chicken with sausages or fish.

Also some onions and salt and pepper to taste. Forgot to mention that.

not worth making a new thread for it; I fucking love eggs and vinegar, but why is mayo so gag-inducing to me?

I try not to eat it at all, but I gag whether it's cold or warm and I don't know why. Does american mayo just have too much oil?

It's a good base for salad dressings.

Might be, though I suggest getting real mayo like hellman's over Miracle Whip, if it's a branding issue. Dukes is also a good brand, as it has a sweet flavor to it, unlike other mayos I've had.

Can I dip crackers or crisps into it?

Miracle whip and similar are "whipped mayonaisse style dressing". It's not just varied brands, it's a different product. No names also sell their own "mayo type dressing" that tastes like miracle whip.

They don't contain as much oil and make up for it with water and some extra spices. Normal mayo has a very different taste despite having (mostly) the same ingredients. I find miracle whip far too tangy, though it's actually half decent as a creamy salad dressing. Sucks as a condiment, imo.

>>14859538
I mixed it with ketchup and some homemade pickled jalepeno/onion paste and used it to dip fries in because I had salad for lunch so my side with dinner needed to be unnecessarily unhealthy. Was a good fucking dip, will make again. Basically spicy mayochup but with really good spicy flavor.

I've noticed equal proportions of white and black people like:dislike mayo. But only when I lived in a black neighborhood did I ever see anyone just eat a pile of mayo between two pieces of bread.
