The texture of a fully cooked yolk is something I always found unpleasant, it's got a weird dry and powdery texture. It's only really good for making deviled eggs or egg salad which I love. Soft boiled eggs are good too, but plain hard boiled eggs are awful.

6 years ago I made a half dozen hard boiled eggs, and ate them after drinking way too much. I puked. I haven't been able to eat deviled eggs since. Makes me sad they were pretty good.

At that point why make anything that takes more than 2 steps. no cakes, not soups no nothing. literally just eat a piece of deli meat and wash it down with a cunk of cheese. I really dont get your point, since in the large schemem of meal preperations deviled egg are easy af, so it just seems odd that this is the hill you are dieing on.
