What is going to be your Grandpa Food?

You know how all old people have a really specific and strange food they love to eat every single day, even though it's gross and unconventional, like liverwurst? What will yours be?

For me, it's gonna be ham salad

For something you would be eating 6 days a week, yeah I'd say liverwurst is gross and unconventional

My preferred waybto eat liverwurst is fried as breakfast sausage patties, with a few drops of syrup. Real maple is lovely; commodity stuff is... ok.

It also adds a nice accent in bologna salad ("sandwich spread") as 10-15% of the total meat.

English muffins, fried in butter, with canadian bacon, mayo, onion and tomato. I already eat this almost every day. The only reason I don't is cause I try to stop myself. But if I didn't, I could seriously eat it every single day. I get tired of everything else fast, but not this.

Kek! I had a really old fashioned, alchoholic farmer grandpa, he would work 20 hours every single day, freak the fuck out if he walked in that house and a meal wasnt prepared for him, but every now and then, he would randomly show up at the house drunk as fuck at 2pm, walk in the house, fry up shrimps with garlic and butter, down it with a beer and dram of scotch, and go back to work.
Miss that crazy fucker

That looks creepy, but I love weird pickled stuff, so I'd have to try it. That would probably be my old man food, though I think it is pretty optimistic to assume I will even make it that far.

Pickled everything, cheese, and some kind of preserved meat or fish. I already eat that way a lot, so why break a habit?
