Has sausage and ham on it, a somewhat overdone crust may be forgiven. That better not be pineapple with the ham however... looks more like onion which is great. All you're missing is mushroom and you'd have the four best toppings.

American, huh?
I haven't had a slice of pizza since I was in Rome last year. I don't get the love of pizza. It's too stodgy. It fills you up too quickly and after half it I can't eat any more and can barely move

I was there the year before and it did not change my opinion on pizza. I love Italian cuisine but pizza, I guess it is the sheer leaden heaviness of it, I just can't get the appeal of.

Brick cheese. 60-70% mozzarella and the remaining evenly split between white cheddar and provolone. That’s NJ boardwalk pizza. The hard part is getting the dough right, but I have been experimenting with high gluten flour and using less water. Makes for a more elastic and crispier dough.

I was gonna start a thread about this but I might as well ask here. Anyone got any recipes/recommendations for making homemade low calorie pizza? I've been buying CPK Florentines and Publix Margheritas, as both are ~1000 calories for the whole pie. I cannot stop myself from eating the whole pie.

Just balance out your calorie intake, if you eat a 1000 calorie pizza then don't go over 1000 calories for the rest of your food for the day or whatever your limit is. But you can try making a whole wheat crust with low fat cheese and loading it up with vegetables to keep calories down.

Lifting weights 3 days a week and running 5 days a week with a consistent diet of nutritious well portioned food 7/10 meals. Then having a pizza or a binge isn't even a big deal. The key is consistency in your nutrition backed up by taking your fitness seriously.

You can eat whatever you want just not all the time. Over time as you continue to improve your physical conditioning and diet you start to enjoy higher quality, nutrient dense foods. Lower quality foods are not as appealing and even if/when you binge your body is trying to feed itself just to repair your last workouts.

I have trouble getting enough calories in sometimes when I'm at my peak activity levels. Literally just ordered a pepperoni pizza before I read this. You can do it too anon just get your ass moving on the fitness part and make a commitment to learning to make yourself a lot of nutritious food. Don't sweat getting a hamburger or a chocolate shake here and there just get going on a workout + nutrition mindset and the rest will fall into place.

It takes tremendously less effort to get back on track or to lose weight when you are exercising routinely than when you're not.

It's not hard to make a pizza round, makes it easier to distribute cheese around those edges so they don't crisp up like that.
