Has anyone else noticed when you take a shit the smell depends on the density of the shit? Heres my theory - heavy turds sink so the water covers them and the smell has no way to escape. Light shit floats at the top so the poo smell can vaporize and escape via the cracks surrounding the toilet seat.

In conclusion - flush the floaters immediately.
