What pisses me of about being an american is how unhealthy fucking everything is here. Our choices are typically you get some high calorie that is loaded with grease, cheese, and sauce or a boring ass salad.

These high calorie monstrosities are tasty but damn, I don't want to eat this shit every day. The sad thing is that even if I open a small lunch shop that has healthy, varied dishes, I probably wouldn't get any customers because the dishes would be too plain.

>country food sucks
>ignore it and make your own

That is my point. It would be nice if I wasn't forced to eat at home if I wanted to eat healthy. In Japan you can get a decent meal from the convenience store. In the US you can only get some shit like a 1,000 calorie burrito or nachos and then still feel hungry after you are done.

for the most part i am fine with this mentality. As long as there is a caveat of "within moderation"

If it doesn't harm you, and it tastes good, what's the problem. There's nothing nutritionally detrimental to pig anus.

>i live in a food desert
thats actually really bad yeah idk the counterplay to that if all you have is tacohuts and dunkin robbins in your town. i assume you live in a pretty rural area then.

As a Yuropoor I think a lot of your cuisine is actually great. Everyone in the world, you included, are just focusing way too much on the fast food slop. Also, boy do you guys like using corn and corn products in way too much of your food.
