The Mexican Pizza has 10 cents more worth of ingredients and takes 10 seconds longer to make than the Spicy Tostada, but they charge 5 times as much for it. Taco Bell is obviously making all these changes based and bottom line data analysis. And while I'd like to say it's going to come back to bite them in the ass when they remove so many fan favorites and people just stop going, I'm sure they have data for that too, and most people don't even look at the menu outside of the combos. Fuck, there are even people on /ck/ who complain about Taco Bell being expensive, despite it being the cheapest major fast food chain. I just checked and a Mexican pizza combo is between $8 and $10 depending on your location. That's fucking crazy.
