Wrong, they do count. You can absolutely gain weight or fail to lose weight drinking white claws. I did.

Additionally, beer belly is really fatty liver, which happens when you consume too much alcohol and your liver goes into overdrive trying to process it all. The excess alcohol gets converted into fat deposits in the liver itself.

In terms of chemical composition there's practically no difference between it and bud light, it's mostly water with a few milligrams of alcohol, carbohydrates and trace chemicals. The only real difference is indication of your role in the dick exchange. White claw is what you drink when you want everyone at the party to know you enjoy having dick inside you. Nah I understand. Back when I was a practicing alcoholic I was trying to lose weight so I had gone back to keto and was eating about 800-1200 calories a day and was confused why I stopped losing weight, turns out 12 cans of white claw a night actually has a shitton of calories purely from the alcohol. That's what made me realize I had a problem so I quit. Today's actually my 9 month sober day, funny enough. Oh, and once I quit alcohol, I did drop the last bit of weight that was bothering me, now I'm doing SS and trying to clean bulk.

Don't ever become alcoholics, kids. Being sober is fine, but knowing that you're one drink away from going right back to full blown alcoholism really fucking sucks. I'd much rather that I'd drank lightly in the past so that I could continue to drink lightly now, or binge occasionally. Now it's just all off the table.

I never had a problem with occasional binges, even regular fairly heavy drinking. The problem was work became intolerable and I drank to cope rather than just quit, which was stupid for multiple reasons. After a year of very heavy drinking after 3 years of increasingly heavy drinking, me and the counselors in rehab decided total abstinence is better for me than trying to drink in moderation.

Things are much better for me now and I've got a lot of positive stuff in my life. Really the only time I get annoyed at not being able to drink is when I try to go out with my new coworkers and all they want to do is go to bars. I should probably just learn a few virgin cocktails and order those but I'm still a bit leery of going back into bars in case I relapse.

Bud light doesn't taste good. It tastes good if you are hot and just sat down and like 'give me a cold beer' then yeah it is as good as other similar beers. This is la croix with alcohol.
