Well, it's a pilsner immature palates don't appreciate, but it sells. Also, people also buy those low carb 90calorie beers. True. I think the very young who don't actually realize that most alcohol and esp beer is an acquired taste will do all that they can to make it palatable. It's just part of the pattern to hate on what isn't candy flavored or to repeat the behavior of one's peers, whether it's trendy hard seltzer and root beer or the trend before it or before that, whether IPAs, hard ciders or faux gangster brands.

This is just not logical. Like what you like man. More flavor doesn't necessarily make something better. If this were true, we'd all be eating dehydrated cucumber, watermelon or lettuce to avoid all that pesky water. Japanese people wouldn't be craving bland foods, if they wanted itensity.

I think OP and others fail to understand this. After five or ten beers you don't taste anything anyway, so who cares. Light beer is meant to be consumed by the case. It is about a steady buzz for hours on end, not savoring the taste.
