For me, it's teumsae ramen except instead of following package directions you drain 95% of the water and mix the powder until it becomes a sauce. Buldak has a bad aftertaste.

They're right on the edge of being too hot imo. Much more and it would be unpleasant. They aren't always pleasant anyway. You have to be in the mood for spicy to enjoy these. It's a thrill to eat them but usually you want a relaxing meal. They can upset your stomach if you're not feeling 110% too.

Sort of like how suicide spicy hot wings are really only enjoyable when you're drunk. Eating XXXL spicy hot wings for lunch with water wouldn't be nearly as enjoyable as eating them with a beer when you're 10 deep.

This these noodles have the worst consistency for spice it's like glue that sticks to your lips. They don't ACTUALLY do anything in terms of causing spice reactions (sweating, bowel problems etc.), it's literally just the fact that the stuff sticks to your lips, tongue, throat etc. Worst of all is the lips. The first time I made them i accidentally made a soup because I didn't read the package and didn't know you're supposed to drain the noodles after cooking. That shit was not nearly as bad simply because it wasn't so sticky. I could drink the entire thing even. So I do believe the scoville shit is not as high as you'd expect.

In my opinion they're uncomfortable especially on the lips, and don't taste very good, but then again all ramen tastes like shit anyway.
