I did that in high school because I preferred eating hot dogs with a barbecue like flavor

A baking sheet lined with oiled foil also works, you'd have to turn them after a few minutes though and the timing is sensitive as they can burst easily.

I bake my hot dogs. Two nights ago made a nice little nachos set up on one side of the baking sheet, put a few dogs on the other side. Slid it into the oven at the same time that I set it to 350 so it’s not gettin all burnt up right away (this is more-so just for the nachos, specifically the cheese, gotta get the right melt). Oven reaches 350 a few minutes later, and then 5 or 10 minutes after that pulled it out and went to chow town

Just made 4 more of these bad boys for lunch. I bunned then and sprinkled some Mexican cheese over them before putting them in at 350 and then I just eyeballed the time but obviously anything more than 10 minutes you’re at risk of burning the cheese up. Topped with a few drops of Tapatio hot sauce and French’s ketchup/mustard. If I had fancier mustard I’d have used that. And don’t have any relish either but would have done that too
