Went to momofuku noodle bar. I always got the extremely spicy noodles, with pork belly added.

This one time I went the server didn't believe I could handle the heat because I guess I looked extra white that evening.

And they for some reason piled on twice the chilis, and some strange thick oil. It wasnt the same dish at all. I couldn't taste anything my mouth was just on the verge of swelling up.
I tried to argue with them that it wasn't the same dish but they kept insisting.
Pretty sure they were fucking with me that night.

My friend has this really intense ghost pepper sauce that he keeps around incase people who don't drink can join in on drinking games (dabbing some on a potato chip).

I had a medium amount on a nugget and it messed me up pretty bad. Like, I held my composure but my mouth was radiating heat for at least 15 minutes.

Some malaysia noodle soup, with "Spicy" as the spice level, the range they gave went from no spice, mild, spicy, very spicy. It was very good, but it gave my body an almost primal instinct like I was going to die or something, I tried to finish it but I just couldn't put more into my mouth, yet I was hungry and wanted to finish all of it. It was the first time I felt like I wasn't in control of myself, like ghosts or something pulling my arm away from getting more noodles into my mouth.

Local wing joint called D Spot, after eating plenty of wings my friends and I ordered 4 "witch doctor" wings, which at the time were the spiciest on the menu, and it was a dry rub that may well have been straight dried chilis.
I had one bite of one wing and my mouth was on fire for an hour and my digestive system didn't fully recover until roughly 10 hours later. Also a horrible case of chili ring

One of my dad's friend once gave him 2 gallons of a homemade habanero sauce. My dad made wings with it for a superbowl and they were great but I had to cool my ass off in the shower. Second to that was when I went to a mom & pop Korean place and they asked how spicy I wanted my bulgogi and I told them they couldn't make it too hot for me. They couldn't but they damn well tried. back about 10 years ago I pulled a prank on my mom at Tiajuana Flats. I switched her sweet salsa out with the death wish Ghost Pepper salsa. She only sipped her chip in and was crying so I felt bad and hit the hot sauce like it was a shot. I don't remember the rest of my day except getting home and sleeping.

Some spice is really good as it enhances specific flavors. If you ever get Hawaiian food, I recommend putting Siracha sauce on it, or with Katsudon, it really works together. Not super spicy tho, just an example. Habanero Salsa can work the same way in certain foods like Tacos

I had dinner at my Indian friends' home many years ago and, during the main course, ate a couple of these small green peppers that the Indians were eating like candy. The first one was barely hot and was nice and sweet so I went back for a second. It was the most intense heat I've ever experienced and didn't let up for about a half hour, during which I had to leave the house to cool down outside. A long time ago when the ghost pepper meme was first taking off, I tried making some fried rice with them. I threw the peppers in the hot oil and it was like a chemical weapon had gone off, everyone was coughing and eyes watering. Guys, do you sweat a lot when you eat spicy foods? I'm white and trying to increase my spice tolerance, but it doesn't seem to be improving. I have been trying medium, up to hot on all sorts of things for a couple months now. Anything outside of mild instantly has me sweating my fucking face off. Other time, at one jap restaurant in my town, when you order curry dishes you can choose spiciness level from 1 to 7. I gradually tried from 3, until I reached 6. I was eating it while panting and sweating. And my knees felt really weak when I was walking out. I haven't tried 7 yet. Might gather the courage for that eventually.

I ate one dried Carolina Reaper that I ordered from Amazon. I ate it dry.

It wasn't that bad until like 10 hours later when it was in my intestines. I felt the reaper burning inside me. It felt like the dried reaper flakes would not digest and the flakes were kind of stuck on my intestine walls. I rolled around on the ground for about an hour. I cried a bit while randomly yelling "AHH AHHH AHHHH". I found some ice cream and ate a bit. I felt absolutely no pain after eating ice cream. Pooing it out burned a little bit.

I don't think it was even that spicy. It was just really painful. I think the reaper being dried made it a lot worse. I still have the reapers on me and I think I'll just kind of throw a few outside and see what happens to creatures that eat it.
