Our hotel finally transitioned back to serving something resembling a breakfast after dragging it's feet on moving away from the breakfast bags (Hilton corporate forced them). Our GM is such a turbo Jew we can barely keep basic supplies still.

Anyway, probably eggs and bacon even though they came out of a carton. I'm trying to keep keto. I wish I could go on a trip with my parents I haven't had a vacation in over a year and last year's "vacation" was me being unemployed for 3 months

I always hated these breakfasts growing up and their quality hinged on whether they had waffles or pancakes. Even if they had eggs and bacon it's almost always disgusting buffet quality. Visited Italy with my wife last summer and wasn't expecting much from the hotels based on past experience and the breakfasts were phenomenal. Both hotels we stayed at had wait staff clearing and setting tables, and serving coffee. All the food was fresh. There was an assortment of quality fruits and a variety of meats. The hot food was replenished regularly. The (scrambled) eggs were delicious.
