Skewered and grilled is a classic for a reason, just need a little sea salt.
Yakitori-style with a sticky tamari mirin glaze is good.
Can sometimes be tough, maybe marinate with pineapple and miso? Haven't done it but it sounds good.

Heart is a tough muscle that is guaranteed to toughen if cooked too long.
One interesting feature is that they marinade really well- but can explode if cooked in a pan.
As a result they are typically barbecued or eaten raw.
Japanese use a mirin/soya glaze and char them somewhat.
Southern Chinese use a complex marinade with green herbs, bitter mustard, ginger, piquant chilles and djoubangiang
In central Asia they are usually grilled plain and seasoned with a diverse mix of spices.

If you really wanted to you could barbeque them with onion wedged, capsicum etc and have them with couscous or in bread
Never pan fry of boil them, they will go like rubber

Kiwi marinade is ABSOLUTELY amazing and softens tissue far more than lemon ever will because it actually has similar acids and enzymes as your saliva and stomach acid, softening up the food.
I bbq'd some with my family last two weekends and they turned out abolutely tender and amazing.

Pineapple is similar but I think a bit weaker. Not so sure. Also kiwi is a far more neutral taste and pineapple makes the food more pineapple-y, for better or worse.
I fucking LOVE pineapple though.
Also you gotta keep it for at least 24 hours in the marinade.

I make this kind of money so you can go fuck yourself.

What you'll realize once you've made it* is that at some point, you can just unironically buy the store brand soda and nobody is going to think you have money trouble. And you can just eat good food without worrying that your guests might see the discarded package and worry you're poor.

*IF you ever make it

>>14253649
>Best way to cook chicken hearts?
Consider making stock? If you're buying hearts to try out hearts, that's obviously not the best plan, but if you're making chicken and find yourself with left-over hearts, you can freeze them and use them to make chicken stock (along with the spine if you're discarding that) once you have enough chicken parts left over.
