Do you want a desert? Try some cinnamon and brown sugar with wetter rice to make a faux rice pudding. Do you want a simple dinner? Add cut up cooked chicken with teriyaki sauce. Want a fun recipe for kids to make at home? Roll up rice balls with peanut butter and some sugar, just make sure you make sticky rice or it won't hold together.

Yellow person here, try pork floss. I'm actually partial to the vegetarian ones because the regular pork has this wonk ass smell that doesn't smell like pork at all. It's similar to furikake but should be cheaper. Furikake is good too.

A bit of soy sauce and kadoya brand sesame oil mixed in after you get it into your bowl also makes it very fragrant for when you're only eating rice with nothing else. Adjust amounts according to taste.

I've seen my mom put chips in her rice a lot, boomer asians seem to enjoy the texture of different potato chips on rice.

Islander here. SPAM, eggs, and rice is peak breakfast. Just cut some half-inch thick slices, fry to your desired crispness, and get some eggs too. Somehow this thread's still up so-

She does it with cheetos, lays, pringles, ruffles, everything. I don't think boomer asians really have a preference as long as it's crunchy and has flavor, because they're in it for the texture. This really old dude I know enjoys taco bell tacos on the regular because he loves the crunch of the shell and the soft stuff inside.

I'd assume my mom prefers cheetos though, because they're easier to pick up with chopsticks. Her chinese dishes involves a lot of longer cut vegetables/tofu/meat for that purpose. I don't know which part of china tends to do this and I can't be bothered looking it up, but there are parts that use chopsticks more than other parts, and their dishes follow the same rule.
