Haha, don’t worry, only a handful of connoisseurs have even heard of it, and fewer have made the trek to Cochabamba to sample it. You have to take a mule to the distillery, no paved roads go there. Once a year they only release about two dozen bottles, painstakingly handcrafted from a top secret cultivar only their master pepper vintners can grow. It costs a thousand dollars an ounce. And that wasn’t even my entire weekend. Yeah I can see you’re intimidated, something I’d expect from the Franks Red Hot crowd. Here’s a coloring book, don’t ask me about “hot sauce” ever again.

I'm not a big fan of hot sauce in general, but La Brava is a local NC sauce that's both pretty hot but also has a lot of flavor. It's mustardy, so you'll like it if you like mustard. I use it for chicken wings exclusively at this point.
