After your spend several hundred dollars on the 'ultimate' dutch oven, you're asked to spend a few more on a stainless steel knob, since the plastic one that it comes with is not oven safe:
https://www.lecreuset.co.uk/signature-stainless-steel-knob

They make good stuff, but at those prices you should get a steel knob as standard.

The warehouses had to cut back on how many workers they can have on site while also sanitizing the whole place every few hours due to covid 19, and since everybody is cooped up in the house and many physical retailers are shut down they have switched to Amazon for buying stuff even more and not just for things they can't find locally. These two factors combined have made it so Amazon shipping is now back to what it used to be in the mid 2000's, even if you have prime I guarantee you aren't getting orders in within the usual time it takes.

It's great for braising meat, particularly tough cuts that need to cook for a long time without drying out. This is basically the original slow cooker and you can do a lot with it.

Not necessarily, if you're cooking for extended periods of time at 450degrees or higher, it's strongly recommended to swap out the knob as it can start offgassing around those temperatures.
