Yeah, but mostly cause booze is expensive as fuck at restaurants these days.

6 Manhattans at my local steakhouse would run me ~$70, but according to your inflation %, should only cost me around $33.

The filet is only $27. Which according to your inflation %, it SHOULD cost ~$35 (3.95(1960) is $34.21(2020))

Total today at my closest steak house would be ~$115-120 ($27 + $72 + 15-20%) with tip.

Which is why I tend to just grill my filets at home and mix my own drinks.

Not as nice as being served at a restaurant putting in zero work, but MUCH cheaper. Around $25-30 total instead of $110+.
