This goes true for basically every poverty staple like canned meats (including spam), grits, fritters, basically every variety of sweet corn bread, cool-aid, snack cakes of every variety, etc. The stuff is grossly overrated, and the only reason you think it's good is because your grandma who grew up even poorer than you figured out how to make it taste good, and you have no idea what it's like to be able to afford to spend $100 on just meat in a week instead of having $100 or less per week to spend on all your groceries.

When I got the food, it came in a paper dish on an orange plastic tray, all scuffed and not properly washed. You can see some hard water mark on it, but the food was actually decent tasting. Probably the heavy seasoning and the spices but still pretty good for the price.
