Don't mind me, bro- I'm just here to make craft beer definitively worse, taste like nasty resin armpit funk, and be in literally every multipack of beer on the shelf.

Drink NEIPAs. Less bitter, more juicy.

correct answer. west coast ipa is objectively a garbage style. i say this as someone who lives on the west coast. also fresh-hopped ipas are good very good - usually available in the fall. i've only ever seen them on tap in brewery tasting rooms, not for packaged release

I don't care about the identity politics of beers, I love a shandy and they're gayer than a may parade, I hate IPAs for their bad taste and omnipresence.

Fresh hopped ipas are great. I don't really buy cans or bottles of the stuff. I'll buy pale ales because the malts usually cover up any off flavor from older hops depending on how long it's been on the shelves. Pale lagers are incredible too. Not cheap ones but a good helles or pils is unbeatable imo

Breweries now put limited brews in there. I actually came around to them since finishing a 6 pack of the same thing is a chore for me now that I don't drink much. I get halfway through and want something else

IPA’s do indeed taste like garbage but if someone enjoys them then whatever go for it. I’ll stick to my refreshing Hefeweizens and Witbiers.

I like a good IPA but I'm sick of the craft beer section basically being the IPA section.

>> No.14034682

A good IPA is better than all other beers but a bad IPA is worse than all other beers. All depends on the brewer not being a fuck up and having a good water filtration system.
