I been drinking 3 bottles of wine per day on weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) for a while know, basically since March, when the lockdown began. Should I give myself a break and skip the drinking this coming weekend?

I obviously don't want to do it, but I feel like I should do to give my body a break

I drink heavily and do a lot of hard drugs. I have severe aspergers syndrome and also Parkinson's disease. Last night I drank so much I vomited into my youngest son's cotton panties.

In Australia it's the cheapest booze. $10 for 20 standard drinks wine compares to $35 for the same in spirits.

Yes, you should. Definitely. And I am not joking.

I don't want to discourage drinking, so I'll just say at least keep up your water and B vitamin intake

You won't be able to. You are an alco. Embrace it. From now on you can only slow down your fall.

technically, if you arent drinking on weekdays, youre generally fine.

more specifically - the fuck wine are you drinking? three bottles is a lot. im blacking out at the end of two and could only do three if I started early with the intention of overdoing it.

even more specifically - yes - your body needs a break. you are accommodating your nervous system to constant booze and you need to train it back to sobriety as its regular basic state. it will do you good to get some actual rest and healing.

Of course.
Also, it's worse to binge a ton on one day then it is to have the same amount spread over the week during mealtimes.
Wine without food is pretty fucked as is.

if you have enough money to buy 6 bottles of wine every week you can't be doing that bad.

I got myself this italian treat for 18 bucks. WDYT?

Since the quarantine started I haven't stopped drinking like a degenerate because I'm bored and not working anymore. Being drunk all day is just unbearable so I stopped alcohol and ordered 500g of kratom in order to get high without feeling like shit all day. Kratom is a pretty good high and buzz and I don't want to drink anymore.

I prefer the red because it's more relaxing and sedating, I think kratom is a good alternative and it's dirt cheap. Effects lasts for 6 hours with a 5 grams infusion. I'm pretty high rn, I had a 6 grams infusion with lemon juice, lemon help extracting alkaloids.

Basically it feels like codeine, it's warm and relaxing but without the opiate dependence.
