Unironically make it yourself. Supermarket versions always come out watery and bland. Just beat together a can of condensed milk, a can of evaporated milk, vanilla extract and 8-10 eggs.

Either make some caramel by melting sugar and brandy or buy it at the store. Drizzle it onto a casserole or pyrex dish. Then pour your flan mix in and bake in a water bath and wa-la!

When serving, flip the flan upside down so you'll get that nice caramel look (the other side ends up with a little crust). Don't make a mess though
