This is a real thing, "Frittata di pasta." Southern Italian, Neopolitan and more South.

I made it in a 16" cast iron skillet. Crisped one side then flipped it over to do the other. It was pretty good.

Honestly, the people who could do the best chicken parm are Austrians. Basically a chicken schnitzel, fried golden brown but only 3/4 done, a thin layer of san marzano sauce, a scant bit of cheese, under a broiler/salamander/etc, good to go over pasta.

Nothing wrong with it when done right. I've had retards put entire rings of tinned pineapple on a pizza before and it ruin it, but a couple pieces per slice is good.

Anyone who orders chicken on pizza should have been aborted though. It's already pre cooked before being topped on the pizza, so by the time you eat it it's been cooked twice and is dry as fuck. There's a reason it's almost always served with half a bottle of sauce with it.
