Why are they SO RELUCTANT to open any locations outside the immediate area of the West Coast? They could make so much money if they branch out, especially in the East Coast specifically. Didn’t they make a small shop in Europe for a day? They decided to open a temporary location for ONE DAY in another country before actually making LEGITIMATE locations in other states in their own country? Why?

Because of quality control.
They only open a store that is within a certain distance of a quality meat supplier of their choosing so they can deliver a never frozen product that lives up to their standards.

That's why they closed the Dallas location because it was subpar. The east coast has shitty meat compared to the prairie - west coast.

Hardee's and BK are exceptionally disgusting. All their shit is frozen trash, unlike In n Out. At least McNogalds has the Quarter Pounder that is never frozen.

Imagine your entire reputation is predicated on consistency of quality and uniformity of product. Then try and open a location far enough away from your supply chain that it has to procure supplies separately. That's the issue. They can't maintain the same supply chain outside their home region, and that means they can't guarantee quality. If their reputation for quality and consistency dies, so does their brand.

Part of it is logistics and part of it is strategic
>In-N-Out is a stickler for quality control and the fresh, never frozen, guarantee which is why all ingredients needs to be shipped from the distribution center within 24 hours. This limits the range a restaurant can open from the nearest supplier without having to establish a new regional supply chain.
>Rapid expansion can result in over saturating an area, leading to competition between branches which decrease sales overall. This is what happened to Subway.
>Above average wages and benefits, even for entry level positions, allows for better worker retention and thus more skilled workers but cuts into money that could be used for other invests, including expansion.
>In-N-Out has cultivated an image and reputation as something unique to the West Coast. Expanding nation wide would dilute the brand image.
>Similarly, the idea that an In-N-Out burger is an exclusive product, something you can't get everywhere, leads to effective organic marketing. Whenever there is a new restaurant opens, it is a major event which drums up initial business and awareness.

tldr; In-N-Out is looking for slow and steady growth because its niche is high quality, low price burgers that you can only get at an In-N-Out and expanding would threaten that niche.

California Texas Florida and New York basically subsidize the rest of the nation. You think shit holes like Arkansas or most of the South and midwest would last without the federal dollars that these states contribute to the union? For every dollar CA taxpayers put into the fed they get .78 cents back. Whereas a shit hole like Mississippi gets a surplus of fed spending since their tax base is so poor.

CA also produces over 1/3 of the vegetables and 2/3 of the fruits and nuts eaten in this nation by itself and Texas produces 14% of the beef.

But no one will ever tell you that because no one wants to make flyovers feel any more like the shitty worthless welfare welfare state methheads than they already are.

>But muh illegals

This is a perfect example of why California destroyed its economy. When the average retard who lives in California doesn't even have a basic grasp of economics it's not difficult to destroy a state.

The reason why these so called "fly-over" states get so much federal aid is because they produce essential goods and services. Agriculture is an essential service and so is coal mining; both industries are no longer profitable as they once were but they produce goods that are absolutely necessary for everyday life. Therefore it is necessary for the government to encourage the existence of these industries through federal subsidies.

>CA also produces over 1/3 of the vegetables and 2/3 of the fruits and nuts eaten in this nation by itself
>Muh California farms

The only reason why they're able to do that is because California lobby's the shit of Congress for exclusive rights to grow certain crops. Even if the soil and weather isn't ideal for growing crops such as almonds and are better off in places like Mississippi.

>The only reason we use so many mexicans to pick our fruits is because the rest of you cracked out subhumans are too lazy for a single day's work that isn't spent watching reality tv and sticking your hands in the wine baths at Walmart for a cheap thrill.

Seriously I went to vegas last summer and was so excited to finally try In-N-Out and they put some vomitesque spread on their burgers, I finished it but it was pretty bad. Mayo, and special suace, which is just mayo,
is always garbage from any restaurant. including the habit. I always order santa barbera so theres enough wet on my sandwitch that I can skip mayo because;
Its always made with soybean oil or other garbage when you order it at any restaurant.

Unless you literally want to be a tranny I seriously recommend you avoid ordering it no matter how good it tastes.

I feel absolutely cucked by kikes too because no matter what mayo I try it's never as good as home made or soy bean based oils so I must either; make my own with olive oil;, or go hungry. if only I grew up on non soybean oil based mayo. listen retard, there are a couple reasons you are struggling with farming and it has nothing to do with muh boogyman milenials.
The food industry is oversaturated by subsidies. People are used to getting their produce for cheap from grocery stores and all that produce as a consiquence is fucking garbage. As a result, your profit margines and understanding of what cash crops and etc are actually worth planting is completely fucked, from top to bottom none of the economic decisions actual farmers do make any sense because of this.

Second; the reason you can't pay a reasonable wage that is sustainable and competitive is due to boomer and your own 50+ year age groups purchasing decisions that led to the advent of huge supermarkets like walmart that effectively destroy non kiked agriculture (which is the only leg you have to stand on, no one is going to seriously do anything but laugh you out of the room if you suggest monsanto a good keed, he dindu nuffin to dem mexicans! by both lefties and righties). Because of that monopolized destruction, you can't actually sell your produce for what its worth, and the public will also refuse to pay for what its worth. It's rediculous to call it that because farming has always been pretty close to subsistance except for certain cash crops, but the complete ownership of the monsanto/supermarket stranglehold has caused a pretty hefty food bubble in america. Food is consinstantly being sold at severely under and over its real value. And the value and labor effort needed for the kind of food anyone ate just 50-100 years ago exceeds the cost of just growing it yourself in a pot at home. tomatoes, carrots, lettuce, raddishes, beets, herbs. The problem is that farming is anyones game. If you don't like the price, the solution is just to grow it at home. you're only ever going to be able to muscle the people who have the money or no time to cook. and thats why you can't ever afford to hire anyone.

>> No.13987503

>>13987013
why you farmfags haven't burned down all of monsantos holdings in a bloody armed revolution and shoot anyone who tires to stop you I have no idea. Nobody but the (((media))) would blame you. The solution isn't letting kikes import a bunch of muds to fix your problem that they caused. you have to unplug unclesam and burn down monsantos monopoly and really see where your industry stands.

As I said "unless you are the actual farmer". The majority of labour is seasonal, that doesn't necessarily mean you have to travel the world but it does mean you'd have to jump to various farms all across the country for a steady paycheck. No life, uncertain income ... that's no way to live.

Mexicans do it because their expenses back home are much lower, if they can occasionally find other income they'll be fine. Someone with a mortgage and a family in the US will not.

If farmers want to stop depending on foreigners they will have to start creating communities around themselves again and making sure there is year round work in the region. When a region just becomes populated with massive farms all growing the same shit it's a deadzone which can only survive on immigrant labour.
