No problem bro, good luck. I recommend an almond to top some off at the end, and to keep some plain to see which you prefer.

Brazilian here, I'll dump some brazilian sweets for you.

First of all, this is pé-de-moleque. Really common and cheap sweet, made from caramel and peanuts, toasted in a over. Fucking delicious.

13941552

Then, we have paçoca. Also made from peanuts, sugar and salt. There simple isn't a single brazilian that doesn't like it. When I lived in Portugal, I made my apartment colleagues addict to this. It's creamy, it's salty, it's sweet, it's everything.

13941560

Continuing on the sugar-centric sweets, we have rapadura. Made only from brown sugar, it is really sweet, so you usually eat it while drinking strong black coffee (which by US-standards are a caffeine nuclear bomb) or you can buy it mixed with milk, so it becomes creamy and little less sweet.

13941568

Going to the coconut, we have cocada. Made with sugar and coconut (and sometimes condensed milk), they are the be made as the coconut-version of brigadeiro. Really good, delicious, not as sweet as it looks. The one's from the Northeast part of the country are better.

13941572

Still on the coconut, we have Manjar Branco. Made with coconut milk, coconut and condensed milk, this a pudding-like desert, really good, usually served with a plum syrup. I prefer with without the plum

Going to the guava, we have the goiabada. Made from the fruit, with some sugar, this is THE SHIT. Personally the brazilian sweet I love the most besides the pudim. Usually eaten alone OR with some minas cheese, known as "Romeo and Juliet". There are some variations, I prefer the goiabada cascão.

Still on the guava, we have the Bolo de Rolo, a swiss cake really thin, with goiabada inside. A Pernambuco dessert.

13941591

This one is also a classic, named Cartola. It is made with caramelized bananas, butter cheese (a special type of cheese), cinnamon and sugar. Sweet, salty, with a lot of textures, I really, really like it, but where I live is kinda hard to find a good one.

13941601

This one is called pamonha, made of corn, coconut, sugar, anything sweet you want. While not only a dessert (can be made salty), it is good. I don't really like it, but it is good.

>> No.13941608

I won't post the other ones, but we have a lot of variations of portuguese sweets, like Quindim, Pudim, Rice Pudding, a variety of cakes, a LOT of versions of dulce de leche (like 10+ variations), Ambrosia, if there's anything brazilian know how to do, it is sweets.

If you guys have any questions, just ask.

1 cup of Unsalted precooked peanuts

A pinch of salt

Put everything in a blender, blend it until it has this wet-flour consistency, do not make it into a paste, it has to have a mostly a flour consistency
