Put simply, yes.

I am a fat middle-aged Southerner, and therefore am a capable judge on this matter.
The chicken isn't the best you've ever had, but it's close and it's consistent and fast every time.
Sides are simple and fresh, but nothing special.
Restaurants are very clean and staff are friendly and normal.

The sauce is easy to make at home I do it all the time. The real reason to go to Canes is the flakiness of their chicken tender skin. You cannot reproduce that with frozen tendies and I haven't been able to do it from scratch either. If anyone has any tips then I'll never have to enter a Canes again.

the chicken has no flavor and the breading falls off easily, the fries are limp and not properly seasoned, the sauce is mediocre at best and the bread only tastes good because they butter the shit out of it.
with the amount things cost at cane's, i'd rather go to whataburger and get a kids meal burger and load that bitch up with 8 patties

My friends rant and rave about how good it is. Had it once and it was disappointing. Same thing with Chick-fil-A, tastes like they dipped their chicken into a ramen seasoning pack before cooking it. Also in and Out is super overrated, Five guys is much better

they're one of the only fast food places that take the time to do special orders.
get topping raw or grilled, buns toasted or steamed, burgers can be ordered med-rare or burnt to a puck.
ill admit their fries suck ass, those can't be fixed... not even by adding american cheese on them, if only they had cheddar cheese

They are either assblasted flyovers that only eat mcdonalds or shake shack shills that buy a burger for $8 compared to in-n-out $3. It's not the best but for cheaper than a big mac you get a much better burger. Animal fries are the only way to make their fries worth eating, they do suck dick by themselves.
