Steel cut oats are better imo, if you want to add creaminess and a big boost of protein wait till they are done cooking and then slowly as about 6 tablespoons of egg whites while stirring vigorously, once all the egg whites are incorporated shut the heat off. This is one of my go to breakfasts along with a cup cottage cheese. Shit ton of fiber as well.

dried beans, brown rice, and the shittiest cuts of fatty pork you can find. amino acids are all there with just a little meat added, plenty of fiber, fill you up. any combo of a grain and a legume, with some cheap ass animal protein added. garbanzos/wheat berries/yogurt, tofu/rice/pork, lentils/barley/a chikcn thigh, blackbeans/hominy/pork. every culture has a bean/grain combo to get complete proteins and just a bit of meat. bread and split pea soup with ham.
