Does anybody sprout seeds and beans to eat? What do y'all sprout and how do you eat it or what do you eat it with?
I've got time on my hands since the quarantine so I'm bored and looking to try some shit.

I've never done it, I was just considering it. I have no idea if they taste the same, probably have a different texture and may compliment different dishes.
From what I understand though the provide more of certain nutrients, nutrients may be better absorbed, and less total calories (less carbs, less fiber).

I am also curious specifically about bell pepper seeds, if those are more edible/if they sprout. Any time I've ever cut up a bell pepper, I always toss the seeds, but I was wondering if I could dry and save them and then sprout them or something, since I likely wouldn't eat them plain.

I used to get a half-pound for 75 cents until someone here told me to just get a bag of mung beans and sprout my own for a fraction of even that price.

They're not very flavorful but it's healthy food. Good for the gut too.

it's not though. Beans are beans but the sprout is a plant. Some people will do what's called activating and get a sort of mix between the two.

Post links for a noob to into bean sprouts. One of my elementary school teachers had a garden at school and I remember eating some crunchy bean sprouts. I haven't thought about them since.

First you're going to need the beans then you're going to need water. Soak the beans until saturated (overnight works) then drain the water and put the beans on a plate with a damp paper towel on it. You're either going to have to keep the humidity up with a spray bottle or put them in some kind of container but after a couple days you have a bunch of bean sprouts.

>then drain the water
Can I reuse this water for anything? Does it contain anything harmful if I were to
1. drink it/make lemonade or whatever
2. use it to steam other vegetables
3. water other plants

I mean yeah that would be why you're more knowledgeable in this hippy shit because you're poor and need to get by with your scraps and not making ends meet, I figured you reuse your toilet water and stuff too. You don't have any experience drinking bean water?

Not enough people speak on the benefits of reusing toilet water. You can actually use the same toilet water several times without flushing. Some people will even urinate and shit at the same time into the same toilet water if you can believe that. Most affluent people don't know about this ancient pauper's secret.

I personally sit down to poop, then up and blast my poop log with my stream of urine.
