Beef brisket IS pretty good. Confused about your pic though.

Might as well make the post about SPAM.

For the longest time I never understood what Americans were referring when they said corned beef sandwhich. I grew up eating canned corned beef and I thought that was they meant. Anyway, I really loved this stuff when I was kid. But haven’t had it for a long time.

Corned beef is fucking BASED. Tasty food you can set and forget when cooking. One of the few things that taste good when bought pre packaged. Nothing like a quick CB hash, or throwing together a reuben.

>> No.13883411

Really good cooked cabbage thrown together in a crockpot, Use something spicy on top to get a Deli-like meal. Bread and Cheese arent really necessary.
It's like jerky tho, little meat and very expensive. I usually just use bacon instead when I cook cabbage cause I cant afford it.

Never tried corned beef but have a can of it. What’s it taste like canned? What can I do with it?

>> No.13884001

>>13883994
Canned is great in hash with some potato, whatever veg you have laying around (onion, peppers carrots w/e) and a poached egg over the top.

Worship brisket parts like your life depend on it. Good with soybean oil infused with herbs.

I cook mine in the Crock-Pot with a bottle of ginger beer, garlic, bay leaves, peppercorns and mustard seeds. Then with the leftovers make a cabbage and corned beef casserole.
