I should add that my original tastes much better than that monstrosity. The original was that pickle juice from Boars Head pickles mixed with my Lays potato chips. Try it. Sprinkle Boars Head pickle juice over a bowl of plain Lays potato chips and thank me later.

Back around 2001 they had "California dill" as one of their taste test flavors they do every year. It was really good, and I was sad that they never brought it back. Their salt and vinegar, on the other hand, goes way back. So it's like they just took their two best flavors and combined them. And oddly it's got nothing to do with dill pickles specifically.

Also I miss their tomato and balsamic vinegar chips.

pickle potato chips are always too sweet for me for some reason. i dont know if its just the brands ive tried or what but i always go in expecting sour and get bread and butter flavor instead.
