Share snacks and products that are really fucking good, but which never seem to sell at the grocery stores you go to.
Pic related is the best fucking pudding ever, and nobody buys it. Even the recent panic hasn't really effected it. I have to be careful not to eat the whole container in a single sitting.

Expensive slabs of cured salmon, and tubes of braunschweiger, as well as Garcia brand smoked sausages were plenty available yesterday at the Aldi while the entire fresh meat selection was wiped out clean (wtf?). They had the frozen Easter hams just arrived, but alas, my fridge and freezer couldn't accommodate that massive of an item right now.
I'm sure I could make use of a tub of frozen chicken livers if I had looked hard at the usual grocery (which is usually not Aldi). It'll be awhile before I step foot in a store probably now.

Is it rice pudding like here in Denmark? Ie., rice and full fat milk? If so, you have to make risalamande out of it

Ingredients
600 g cold rice pudding
4 dl whipping cream
100 g almonds
4 table spoons sugar
2 vanilla pods

>boil water and pour over almonds
>let rest for a few minutes and remove almond skins
>chop almonds coarsely
>split vanilla pods scrape out and mash seeds with a bit of the sugar
>whip the cream until thick but not completely stiff
>gently stir whipped cream, almonds and vanilla into the rice pudding
>refrigerate
>serve with hot cherry sauce

Trust me OP if you like rice pudding this is gonna make you cream your pants. It's the only good thing to come out of Danish cuisine

>last Christmas I had had enough
>soon as we have all scooped up a bowlful I switch his with mine

Recipe looks good. I urge OP to try it. I prefer it without the cherrysauce myself.

I feel your pain man, I've been hunting the thrill ever since becoming an adult
>childhood is being excited about getting the almond
>adulthood is realizing your grandma put it in your bowl
No longer being the youngest in the family sucks

In my family we've had to carve a secret symbol into the almond because my based grandpa cheats and brings his own

Grocery Outlet where weird food goes to die had these 2 for 3$ along with the asiago flavor.
Get a box of townhouse crackers and a bag of salami ends and off cuts and you have a feast.

For me, it's liverwurst. One roll and I'm set for a week or more. Some stores stopped stocking it or only have the paste-kind, which tastes less oniony and doesn't have that satisfying-meaty bite like the stuff with the yellow wrapper. I like to eat it on saltines as a snack or make a white, stone ground mustard, miracle whip, onion, lettuce, and liverwurst sandwich. I used to eat it a lot as a child so it has a nostalgic taste
