Veganism is the way to go. Saving the animals is great and all, but the byproducts of the meat/dairy industries are ruining the planet in inarguable ways. The diet also boosts so many positive chemicals in the body that are reported to improve the mood and overall health of the individual.

No, if you are not a retard like Freelee and only eat fruit and drink smoothies all fucking day. There are so many great vegan recipes that emulate a "normal," meat/dairy containing diet that incorporates much of the necessary vitamins that humans need to stay healthy. Supplements are definitely a scam, but if you know what to eat, it is completely safe.

I am not a vegan, but I eat vegan a lot these days.

It is also important to note, that veganism is a lifestyle, not just a diet.

Doesn't really seem like meat is bad if you have a healthy balanced diet and aren't overeating. I had a good vegetarian diet but still ended up with some deficiencies after a while. We're omnivores so a vegan diet isn't ideal, it's why you absolutely need supplements if you're on a vegan diet. But I think lab-grown meat will do more to cut down on both animal issues and factory farming byproducts.
