Nothing special, just grate cauliflower, squeeze out excess water, and cook it normally as you would with typical fried rice.
As for beef strips, I cooked them with my own gen tao sauce. I used ketchup, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, minced garlic and ginger.

Sauce:
2 cans of whole tomatoes
1/2 onion
tablespoon of butter
oregano, cayenne pepper, salt, pepper and basil
>cook until simmering and break up the tomatoes into smaller chunks
add a handful off rocket leaves and 1 cup sun dried tomatoes

also cook 600g minced beef separately, store separately as well

To serve:
Cook fettuccine, put it in a bowl and add 1 teaspoon butter, 1 teaspoon garlic aioli, pepper and a little salt
Stir through
place mince on top of pasta, then cover with sauce

garnish with basil and spring onion

very easy to make and lasts about 7 servings for me, just reheat the sauce on the stove and microwave the mince

Aw. Try making cauliflower fried-rice sometime. It's one of my favourite ways to serve a rice set meal. Last time I did, I had cauliflower fried rice and fava bean curry. The rice is a garlic/chilli fried rice to which grated cauliflower is added. There's also curry leaf in there. When served, it's topped with crisp-fried shallots and smoked fish flakes. Japanese katsuobushi is fine because I think the Sri Lankan one might be difficult for you to get a hold of.
It's really good, though I'm sure yours is, too.

A light-colored beer like Rolling Rock is probably best in a batter for white-fleshed fish like haddock. Dark beers are usually reserved for chili, soups, and stews. I'm mostly interested in working class food, so my knowledge and interest is pretty much exhausted at this point. You could *maybe* use it in the place of white wine, so searching for chicken and seafood pasta recipes might be a good starting point. Like I said, too fancy for me.

Not that you asked, but a frosted mug with salty snacks like pretzels and peanuts is my preferred choice of consumption. Dissolve half a cup of salt into a couple cups of warm water, let it cool, and then add ice. Submerge the beers and let them get ice cold. Pour it into a frosted mug, and if little pieces of ice flake off and float to the top, then you did it right. Pilsners are at their absolute best when they are near the freezing point.

While we still don't have a lockdown I'm trying to cook as many 'fresh' things as I can, lots of salads and such. I doubt it'll be such a lockdown that I won't be able to buy shit but just in case...loading up on those vitamins.

However, if I'll need to make something to last a long time, I'll get a whole chicken, roast it, get the meat off, boil the bones to make a stock and add some vegetables to make soup, then use some of the soup to make some nice rice with extra vegetables. That's like a week's worth of food with just one chicken right there. I'll think of some other efficient recipes like that.

Pork loin roulade. Spinach, toasted pine nuts, dried cherries, sauteed onion and cream cheese. I threw about 2/3 cup of panko in there to soak up some of the spinach water I didn't wring free.
Served with herb roasted small red potatoes and carrots.
Next time I will try to remember lemon or maybe do something like make a onion, fig and garlic jam instead of making a stuffing and having less presentation with bigger flavor.
What ever, enjoy the photo.

My gf isn’t making any money and I don’t know if our landlord is gonna demand rent or not. I get financial aid so we can pay a month or two, but shits gonna get hard if her work doesn’t kick back in soon.

Furthermore, god willing the economy doesn’t crash, you’ll still be getting trump bux (if you’re American) and you’ll be richer than all the other people who got their work shut down.

Plan the trip to these ethnic markets, come home with haul, sanitize and wipe everything down with lysol wipes, throw your cloths in the wash, bathe, and wait for shit to blow over.

Also leave your shoes in the garage or out in sunlight.

What is the difference? I've had the Greek one in all three versions with vine leaves (with mince goat meat, pine seed and yalanji) plus cabbage dolma (while we do have stuffed zucchini, tomatoes, eggplants etc we dont consider them dolma in Greece) and the Cretan version with zucchini flowers and had them in yalanji again in Jordan (pretty much the same as in Greece). From what I understand the Turkish version is stuffing anything you can (onions, mackerel and even quinces).
