Started off strong with a good theme, and a crisp, informative design that wasn't invasive.
Movie dishes come alive, you don't need to see me, the focus is the food.

As he grew he felt the need to inject more humor into it, it used to be witty and rare, now it's the main attraction aside from food. His side projects are something to glance over entirely, but I suppose using youtube money for good causes is worthy of celebration.

I still watch every video, but this cow's getting milked as hard as she can.

I just hope Internet Shaquille will never fall down this dark path.

He's fine, I watch his videos from time to time but some of his witticisms grate on me as they seem to be increasingly forced.
I didn't find him to be particularly funny in the first place. The growing frequency of his comedic interjections doesn't do him any favors.
Sometimes a joke doesn't land or was never really worth telling in the first place, we've all been there.
When 10 jokes don't land in a row it's more difficult to sit through the video.
So far as the more superficial aspects go, he's a meek looking man with little definition, his foray into dieting was a wise choice but it's apparent he hasn't stuck with any serious exercise regimen.
Like I said, superficial, but I find outward appearance can speak well to character.
His voice is clear and not particularly unpleasant, however, his cadence is unnatural at times. I'm assuming this is a fault of his/others script writing.
I have no issue with scripting, but it can leave you worse off if it feels wooden or forced. A good example is Amiel Stanek of BA, other personal qualms aside, his features are easily the poorest BA offers.
So far as his abilities as a cook go he is competent. Nothing he creates is particularly vile, unless that's the intention of the recreation, but being able to make something that's 'not shit' isn't the same as being able to make something 'good'.
Overall I don't find him to be the worst of the 'Reddit Chefs' but if there's an equal or better substitute I'd rather watch them instead.
I'd touch on his personality, but I don't typically hold personality against someone, so long as they're not extremely spastic/obnoxious/baboon-like.

He started off as a channel that took food from media that was on some level absurd or fantastical and did the whole "here's a faithful enough recreation of it and now here's maybe an actually palatable version" which I think is a fine enough gimmick to have. Then that slowly turns into straight up just food from media in the sense that the food is no longer weird and it's just "this movie had a chicken fried steak here's how you make a chicken fried steak". Now we're at a point where the majority of his content has all but stripped away any sense of being anything other than just straight cooking videos.

Of course there's plenty of space for a thousand cooking channels on youtube but I just personally feel when you remove the mildly interesting food from media angle its generic as shit. I also think coupled with the fact he's clearly now loaded as shit a layer of charm is removed. I take no issue with him making fat stacks from youtube or not being a pro chef but I'd rather watch some random fucker in a trailer make a steak than watch him in his downtown new york apartment in his ultra kitchen pull out his Sous-vide machine in order to not fuck up medium rare.
