Yes, I've heard all the possible comments on the subject and yes I know how it looks, and I don't care, I also know that the swedish people are triggered by these but I don't know why. Anyways, I'm sharing these bad boys because I'm proud of it since it took me an hour to knead the dough by hand and they are freaking amazing.

Thanks, because I don't go to Reddit often.
Are you proud you wasted 55 minutes of life? You could have had pic related with zero discernible difference, or simply visit a quality bakery or restaurant, and have a much more valuable overall experience than simply calorie stuffing inside your home.

yes. you can eat those things all day long without getting tired of the sweet cinnamon goodness

We don't have those things in stores here, and also I don't think we have stuff like that in bakeries. I wanted to try to make it for myself so I did. Sure it would've been easier if I had a proper mixer but those are quite expensive plus I think the kneading helped shed a few calories.

Yes, we also do biscuits in a tube. They're pretty good but quite unhealthy.

>swedes are triggered by these
Really? My boss loves to make these at work and she's a native swede

>> No.13697278

Cum on your bune haha

>> No.13697287

I believe they're very tasty OP but I will never understand why something that's already a sweet bread and has sweet filling ALSO needs a sugar coated topping? It just seems unnecessary and doesn't offer any taste balancing. At least just do a few quick stripes over the buns and be done with it rather than pour it all over.

yeah I bet she loves them covered in cum but that's not how they are supposed to be

Well I get what you're saying, but I was just going by the recipe, and it is only my second time making it so sure I'd probably opt out of this kind of icing next time.

>> No.13697447

>>13697276
From what I gathered is that they have a similar type of rolls with cinnamon but without the frosting so apparently these are a sin.

>> No.13697464

>>13697440

No, you did it correctly. The kits that come with all the ingredients have enough icing to completely cover.

That guy's probably European.

I see no reason to glaze the whole pastry like that. It's excessive and looks unappealing. You're ruining a perfectly good pastry and wasting sugar and I understand why anyone would get upset by this, swede or no swede.
Now, if you wanted to add some sugar on top you could add some coarse sugar or decorating sugar or whatever it's called.

I'm not telling you how to do it I just believe it doesn't lose anything going without the topping. Unless specifically flavored it appears to me just as extra calories.

If you prefer it with the glaze then don't let anyone tell you to stop.

Those are some tasty looking cinnamon rolls OP. I'd eat one of those with some bacon, eggs, and a cup of coffee. Well done.

If you really want to splurge, try one with a scoop of Butter Pecan ice cream for a desert. It's probably a thousand calories, but it's worth it.

Looks tasty, the only thing that can compete with homemade is Cinnabon. Pillsbury buns are poverty-tier garbage.
