Two weeks ago I stopped drinking for a planned few months. Everyone from my local bar is constantly hitting me up, telling me they miss me and such. Is this normal? Any stories about bars/restaurants you're a regular at?

I was a regular at a little Indian place in my old city. I didn't have to place an order after a few weeks, they knew I always got the lunch special (curry of the day). Whenever I walked in I could hear them fill up a pitcher for me. They didn't normally serve pitchers, but I drank so much water it was easier this way.
I miss that little place.
When I ordered their hottest level curry the chef was so excited.

That food looks like someone with a yeast infection shit into a bowl but I'm sorry your favorite Indian place is no longer in your life. Sounds comfy and nice.

Early morning on the weekends I would go to one of two cafes for a breakfast sandwich and coffee, about a 45 minute walk away.
Walking in a beautiful city before everyone is up. Cars are barely on the roads. Going through a nearly empty train station.
It was like I had the place all to myself. Top comfy.
